Calling all children entering 1st through 6th grade! Join us at Camp Nah-Jee-Wah for a summer of endless opportunities with best friends by your side. Here, you’ll find a nurturing, caring, and supportive Jewish space filled with laughter, adventure, creativity, and community. Get ready for an incredible camp experience!

Our Program

With over 25 elective offerings in arts, athletics, outdoor adventure, waterfront, and STEM, Nah-Jee-Wah inspires campers to explore their interests, discover their Jewish identity and connection to Israel, and break out of their comfort zone. With daily activities, frequent special programs, Jewish customs, and camp traditions that bring everyone together, the sense of community at Camp Nah-Jee-Wah is more than just a phrase, it’s a connection between campers that materializes in high fives, excited cheers, and hugs when you need them most.

Elective Offerings

Campers participate in six daily activities, two of which they choose themselves (three if they’re entering 6th grade!) based on their individual needs and interests. During each of these activities, campers receive excellent instruction and learn new skills while having fun.

Meet Our Team

Our dedicated staff members are what make Camp Nah-Jee-Wah a truly special place. As beautiful as our facility is and as vast as our programs are, it is our enthusiastic and energized staff that bring camp to life. Applicants from across the globe are carefully selected to join our team and provide campers with the opportunity to experience other cultures and discover their place in the world.

Health & Nutrition

At Camp Nah-Jee-Wah, the safety and physical well-being of our campers and staff is our number one priority! We provide nutritious and well-balanced fully kosher meals that kids enjoy eating and have a resident health staff that oversee the medical care of our campers throughout the summer.

Total Specialty Camps

At our Total Specialty Camps (TSC), mastering your skills is the name of the game. Here, we seize the unique opportunity to live the mantra “practice makes progress.” Campers are able to take to the court and field with our exceptional instructors to learn new techniques and strategies to up their game!

First Step

First Step is a long weekend for 1st through 4th graders in late August that features a condensed version of camp with a wide array of programs including sports, arts, waterfront, ropes course, and more. Campers participate in Shabbat and get a taste of the strong community that is at the heart of every Camp Nah-Jee-Wah experience.

Round Lake at Camp Nah-Jee-Wah

Round Lake is an inclusion program serving children and adolescents with, but not limited to, social communication disorders, ADHD, learning differences, and anxiety at Camp Nah-Jee-Wah. Our program is built upon a philosophy of opportunity and choice for all campers.

Our approach to inclusion ensures that campers who are part of the Round Lake program are fully integrated into the camp experiences at Nah-Jee-Wah. Campers enjoy everything that a traditional sleep away camp experience has to offer, while benefiting from additional support.

Machane B’Yachad at Camp Nah-Jee-Wah

Machane B’Yachad is a partnership program with Friends of Israel Scouts, Tzofim at Camp Nah-Jee-Wah. This unique overnight summer ‘camp within a camp’ is an immersive, unique, and fun-filled program that provides rising 4th through 9th grade campers an Israeli experience in Hebrew.
At Camp Nah-Jee-Wah, Machane B’Yachad offers 13 days of overnight summer camp with all of the activities of a traditional summer camp plus activities that are unique to Israel Scouts. More than 25 diverse elective activities, such as swimming, basketball, gaga, boating, and arts and crafts, are offered in combination with scouting activities designed to bond the campers and deepen their knowledge of Israeli culture. This diverse, immersive program, run in Hebrew by Israeli counselors and Hebrew-speaking friends, will broaden campers’ knowledge and use of Hebrew!
