Fun for the Family at Camp Nah-Jee-Wah!
We are thrilled that you are choosing to join us for one of our incredible Family Camp Weekends or Family Fun Days!
Family Camp Weekends & Family Fun Days offer you the opportunity to enjoy everything that camp has to offer as an entire family! Throughout the summer, we offer a number of weekend options, each including an extensive schedule of programming delivered by our wonderfully talented staff. We also offer Family Fun Days, at no cost to you, to experience a few hours of the Nah-Jee-Wah magic, camp tours, and a BBQ lunch! Both options are perfect for some needed away time, or in preparation for your child’s future summers at Camp Nah-Jee-Wah!
What Makes Family Camping Special
Set on our beautiful campus in Milford, PA, we have something for every member of the family, from sports and zip-lining, to jet-skiing and crafts. Kids come for free as well! Whether you are interested in sending your child to camp next summer, you want to meet like-minded families at a themed getaway, or you just want a fun vacation or day away with a tailored program at your fingertips, our Family Camping options are the place to be.
Weekend Logistics
Each family signs up for a private cabin to themselves or, if you choose, a cabin to share with friends. Equipped with recently upgraded ensuite bathrooms, electricity, and bedding, the cabins provide a cozy yet “campy” feel for all guests. Upon arrival, families receive a packet of information including a detailed schedule of the weekend with the activity and program options offered. Meals are provided in our dining hall, served cafeteria style with a wide variety of choices, including options for special dietary needs.
We begin our Family Camp Weekends by welcoming in Shabbat as a community. This includes a delicious Friday Night Shabbat meal followed by optional camp-style services in our beautiful amphitheater led by our song leader.
Each morning, we offer a day camp for children ranging from 3-12 years old with a whole host of age-appropriate elective options. We even have a flexible schedule for teens. This is the perfect time for parents who are looking to enjoy some of the adults only programming which might include adult craft projects, exercise workouts, or something completely different!
Throughout the day our swimming pool, lakefronts, and ropes courses are open for guests to enjoy. Meanwhile sports games, scavenger hunts, ice cream parties, outdoor cooking, and other popup activities are regular fixtures throughout the afternoon.
Evenings consist of Family fun games, a teen lounge, special entertainment shows, and a classic camp fire and s’mores roasting. There is no lack of fun and adventure, and we guarantee all members of the family will be ready for a good night’s sleep at the end of the day!
Fun Day Logistics
Family fun days typically kick off at around 10:00 AM at which point our staff will help to coordinate parking and entry to camp. Be sure to bring everything you need for the day including a bathing suit for the waterfront and sneaker for the Zip-Line. Upon entering camp, you will be greeted with light refreshments, a map of camp, and a schedule for the day, which will include tour times, activities scheduled, and more. Activities will remain open throughout the day until our gates close at 3:00 PM.
Fun Day Programming
Family Fun Day is a FREE, action packed day at Camp Nah-Jee-Wah with fun for all ages! Running from 10:00-3:00 PM, participants can tour our facilities, meet our director team, and experience the fun of Nah-Jee-Wah, capped off by a delicious BBQ lunch.
There are a whole host of activities offered throughout the day, ranging from Zip-Lining (bring sneakers!), to fun on our water-trampoline and water-slides (bring bathing suits!), to Tie-Dye, and more. Family Fun Days are great fun for every member of the family, and are also a terrific way for future Nah-Jee-Wah campers to enjoy a first taste of the camp magic!
