At Camp Nah-Jee-Wah, we know art is the expression of life. Join in the combining of creativity and inspiration to make something beautiful. Through our summer camp arts programming, we encourage campers to channel their inventiveness while allowing their imagination to flow freely.
Cooking
Our cooking studio offers campers the opportunity to create, prepare (and most importantly eat) their favorite dishes. Campers enjoy everything from brownies, mac & cheese, blondies, cookies, and mini pizzas.
Outdoor Cooking
Embrace your roots and heritage by trying your hand at traditional Israeli cooking. You’ll find that the end result is delicious.
Woodshop
Unlock your imagination in our Nah-Jee-Wah woodshop! Take to the shop to create your own… well, pretty much anything!
Ceramics Hand/Wheel
With two separate program spaces and our very own kilns, our ceramics programs are first class and led by professional artists in residence.
Film Making
Experience the full creative process, from storyboarding, to shooting footage, culminating in editing and post production. Create your next masterpiece!
Painting and Drawing
Looking out over our beautiful lakefront, Painting and Drawing is the perfect activity to create masterpieces using a variety of different mediums.
Arts and Crafts
Otherwise known as “Studio,” our Arts & Crafts program includes: tie-dying, mosaics, leather-work, and much, much more. Endless creations await!
Makerspace
One of our newest and most popular activities, Makerspace is where STEM, arts & crafts, and engineering come to life. In addition, campers will experiment on our 3D printers and can even make their own fidgets and jibbitz!
Guitar
A new string of chords is music to our ears. Our guitar elective is the perfect place to work on your strumming skills.
Drama
Make like Lin Manuel Miranda and take to the stage! After a summer of rehearsing, become the star of the show as you present a live performance for all of camp and your families.
Podcasting
Join friends in our Podcasting studio to share with the world just how much fun we’re having at Camp Nah-Jee-Wah! Our podcasts are shared with our camp families throughout the summer.
Rocketry and Model Making
Let your imagination run free and create with us at Rocketry and Model Making! Learn from instructors how to build and eventually launch rockets upwards of 300 feet in the air.
