First Step at Camp Nah-Jee-Wah

First Step is a trial program for 1st through 4th graders in late August that features a condensed version of camp with a wide array of programs including sports, arts, waterfront, ropes course, and more. Campers participate in Shabbat and the strong community that is at the heart of every Camp Nah-Jee-Wah experience.

First Step: A 2 Night Trial Program for Campers Entering 1st–4th Grades

First Step #1: August 18-20, 2026 – $270

  • Activities including Sports, Arts, Waterfront, Pools, High Ropes and more!
  • Nurturing and caring counselors that assist your child throughout their entire stay!
  • An opportunity for your camper to meet potential bunkmates for future summers!
  • A full three days of fun at Camp Nah Jee Wah!
  • Extra-long final day for more activities!
  • Drop-off between 9 & 10 AM – pick-up between 5:30 & 6:30 PM

First Step #2: August 21-23, 2026 – $180

  • Activities including Sports, Arts, Waterfront, Pools, High Ropes and more!
  • Nurturing and caring counselors that assist your child throughout their entire stay!
  • An opportunity for your camper to meet potential bunkmates for future summers!
  • Exposure to NJY Shabbat traditions!
  • A full weekend of fun at Camp Nah Jee Wah!
  • Drop-off between 3 & 6pm – pick-up between 10:00 & 11:00 AM
